The hickory nuts from the White Hickory Tree separate easily from the shells, and the White Hickory Tree ranges from Canada to the Gulf Coast, and produces large quantities of hickory nuts with 4 ribs that are sweet and spicy, maturing in September. The White Hickory Tree has many hybrid characteristics such as variation in shape of nuts that make it difficult to distinguish it from the Shellbark Hickory nut. The tree grows to be 120 ft. in height, and it has a straight trunk.

Delivery Time: Nut Trees ordered during their current shipping season (usually December through April) are shipped dormant within ten days of the date of order, weather dependent. The actual delivery time will usually be within four to seven days following the date of shipping by Ty Ty Plant Nursery. Shipping Method: UPS Ground and Motor Freight if the proper arrangements have been made by the customer prior to shipping. Shipping costs do apply on Motor Freight shipments, not covered by any sales promotions.
