The Oconee pecan trees produce a soft papershell nut which has around 48-56% kernel ratio. The Oconee Pecan Tree selection is highly recommended for Northern climates, since it shows a very high resistance to cold temperatures. The nuts on the papershell Oconee Pecan tree fill out the kernels well for early fall sales. This pecan tree produces the male pollen catkins shortly after the first leaves form in the Spring that leads to the easy pollination of the nuts.

Pruning Information:Pruning may be required on Pecan Trees so as to comport with UPS shipping requirements.
