Pawnee Pecan trees produce a large nut that has a medium soft papershell, roughly 40 percent kernel ratio, and the tree requires pollination from additional trees, usually best performed by the Desirable. The Pawnee Pecan tree is very cold hardy, and in middle Georgia, around Fort Valley and Perry, Georgia, this selection has become one of the most popular cultivars for the early Thanksgiving pecan market sales. Perhaps the greatest attribute of the Pawnee Pecan tree is the very early maturity of the nuts on the trees around the last of September or the first of October, and normally this is a month earlier than most other varieties.

The actual delivery time will usually be within four to seven days following the date of shipping by Ty Ty Plant Nursery. Shipping Method: UPS Ground and Motor Freight if the proper arrangements have been made by the customer prior to shipping. Shipping costs do apply on Motor Freight shipments, not covered by any sales promotions.

Pruning Information:Pruning may be required on Pecan Trees so as to comport with UPS shipping requirements. For this reason, the pecan tree(s) you receive may not be the actual height you ordered due to it being pruned up to one third of the total size immediately prior to shipping unless you have made prior arrangements with us to ship the product to you by motor freight. Although you should receive the size ordered if shipped by motor freight, note that shipping motor freight will likely increase your shipping costs.
