• The Fatsia Shrub Plant also called Japanese Aralia Shrub, is not known for it's flower but in the fall a unique creamy white flowers appear takes over the bush and is truly more spectacular than the large evergreen palmate foliage. Not classified as a cold hardy plant, the Fatsia Shrub Plant has recently survived many consecutive winters on the University of Georgia's campus in Athens, GA., which makes this plant a great addition to any landscape looking for a tropical look. The Fatsia Shrub Plant needs to be planted in the shade or in the protection of a building, if not the over exposure to the sun will make the plants look spindly and will eventually lead to plants death, if the bush does become spindly prune the stalks back to encourage denser leaf growth.
