The New Zealand Tea Tree has very small leaves and large showy flowers in comparison. Many products made form the New Zealand Tea Tree have antibacterial properties, including the honey made from tea tree nectar. This beautiful tree will burst into blooms early in the spring. The Red New Zealand Tea Shrub can grow 5-6ft in the South and is cold hardy to 15*F. This plant can flower at any time,and it bursts into full flower during the early spring during the flowering climax of daffodils and jonquils. The leaves of the Red New Zealand Tea Shrub are used to make tea in many cultures. Red New Zealand Tea Shrub leaves are small rounded and densely clustered on the slender switches, and generally the leaves turn red in cold temperatures.

The actual delivery time will usually be within four to seven days following the date of shipping by Ty Ty Plant Nursery. Our Shrubs and Vines are container grown plants, that will be removed from the containers prior to shipping to allow for the most efficient shipping method, unless Motor Freight accommodations have been made then the plants can be delivered in containers.
Shipping Method: UPS Ground and Motor Freight if the proper arrangements have been made by the customer prior to shipping. Shipping costs do apply on Motor Freight shipments, not covered by any sales promotions.
