The Yellow Banana Bamboo Plant Grows huge in every way. It can grow 45 feet tall with a 3 inch diameter and extremely thick walls for support. The young shoots sprout green but morph into a brilliant gold color in a few months. Sometimes the bottom sections will develop thin green vertical stripes.
