The Tea Olive Flowering Plant is a large shrub or small tree. The broad, upright form is densely branched and covered with dark green finely toothed foliage. Tiny white flower clusters have a delightful peach-like fragrance. The Tea Olive tree has a delicious fragrance when planted under a bedroom window, and the plant begins blooming in the Fall, blooms heavily in the winter, lasting into the spring and the fragrance is exactly like an over-ripe Elberta peach.
°Even though the flower of the Tea Olive is small, it is known for the fragrance that begins in the Fall and continues through the Summer on a wonderful evergreen shrub selection. The beautiful green leaves and tiny white flower petals of the Tea Olive like full to partial sun. Very few plants or trees furnish a continuous progression of flowers for such an extended period with a sweetly aromatic enjoyment over three seasons.
