Clivia is a African flowering plant with dark green leaves and a bright cluster of orange blooms. The contrast between bright and dark is set off by a touch of yellow at the neck of each orange flower. Clivia Lily clumps can be easily separated and should be planted in partial shade with moderate compost to help hold moisture in droughts.
Planting a Red Clivia Bulb
• A large Clivia bulb will form a large clump of plants in one year and some of the baby clivia bulbs will even bloom the same year. The Clivia Lily blooms in a cluster of red flowers with yellow centers that create a stark contrast. Clivia lilies exude a very slight sweet aroma and work great as cut flowers. Clivia minata is the most popular of all Clivia bulb cultivars. The Clivia Lily Flowering Bulbs is a very rare flowering plant and the bulb is easy to grow under the proper cultural conditions for best flowering.
