Evergreen Ivy Vines
Vines normally need some kind of support to grow on, but evergreen vines can run along the ground as a 'ground cover' or climb up supporting structures like fences or walls to add privacy to property owners or for the purpose of cooling the surface of solid walls of homes to cut the cost of power bills. Florists also use vines in many ways to improve floral arrangements or to combine green leafy color or variegated leaf textures with annuals or perennials in container growing.
Evergreen vines that are growing along the ground can easily root in the earth which, in turn, will cause the ivy vine to be ranked as one of the fastest growing plants.
