Zinfandel Grapes ripen early in August before many other types of wine grapevines. The Fall brings with it huge harvests of wine grapes from the Zinfandel Wine Grape Vine, and the delicious, aromatic wine has a big flavor of black cherry mixed with ripe blackberry and a hint of plum within the character, and the wine is fermented into a deep-red color with brilliant purple overtones. The Zinfandel Wine grape is also popular in California where it is intensely cultivated in extensive vineyards for its intense aromas and its fruitiness and lush texture.
