The Heritage raspberry has been given the 2004 Outstanding Fruit Cultivar Award by the American Society of Horticultural Sciences, and the Heritage red raspberry bush is also a good alternate selection for growing in the Southern States, such as Florida, Georgia and Alabama. These erect, sturdy growing canes are vigorous and rapidly clumping raspberry offsets, with upright canes loaded with berry fruit ripening from August until frost.
