Dwarf Lily of the Nile Agapanthus

The Dwarf Lily of the Nile Agapanthus only grows 12-18 in size making it ideal for indoor floral displays of bright blue globes of flowers. The one foot, strap-like leaves grow in a rosette close to the ground. This Agapanthus is very cold hardy, and grows quickly when the rhizomes are planted in full sun, outlining your yard beautifully. The Dwarf Agapanthus pot culture is exceptionally rewarding, because when the ('root-bound pots') restricted roots are crowded they increase the spectacular flowering. This plant has a unique, refined appearance that is received exceptionally well by visitors to city park landscapes and helps to brighten and enhance the look of the planting against a busy urban background.
